“What an amazing restaurant to enjoy excellent food while setting in the terrace looking at the beautiful river. Can’t go wrong with their dishes, starting with the Caviar and then their Fresh devor sole and ending with a sweet treat. The service is great with care and attentive host . A really good place and will surely visit again.”

“Perfect spot for a relaxed weekend lunch. The terrace offers lovely seating with a nice river view—though the sun was a little strong. Service was top notch and everything we ordered was great. The sea bass, in particular, was excellent. I’d definitely return.”

“We visited Scott's Richmond for a special occasion, celebrating both my wife’s and daughter’s birthdays. Upon arrival, the welcome and the staff’s escort to our table were warm, and we were pleased with the attention and friendliness towards the children. However, despite mentioning during the reservation that we would like a table with a river view, we were seated at a table facing a wall and a column. This table was not only difficult to settle into, but some of the chairs were positioned near the walkway, and it felt like we were in the way of the service corridor. The cleanliness and table arrangement were good, which made the setting pleasant. Unfortunately, the level of service was lacking. Despite informing them about the birthday celebration in advance, the only gesture we received was a plate with a message written in chocolate sauce and two small truffle chocolates. There was no further acknowledgment or effort to make the occasion feel special. (If you're hoping to have a slice of cake to celebrate a birthday, unfortunately, this is not the place for it) When it comes to the food, which was seafood-focused, it was average at best – not the exceptional flavors we had hoped for. The drink menu was adequate, but unfortunately, the simple cocktail we ordered was unavailable. In conclusion, while the setting and staff were generally friendly, the experience didn't quite match the occasion, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a special celebration.”

“We had a truly lovely evening there start to finish. The food was excellent, the seafood all cooked perfectly, and every detail of the experience was spot on, but it was the staff who really made the day — especially Peter at the door. The Wednesday evening live jazz was very good. We will return next time we’re in Richmond!”

“This is an a classy and classic restaurant in the idyllic town of Richmond, on a bluff overlooking the river. Mostly seafood on the menu with a few land-based proteins to be sure all bases are covered. Tuna tartar, lobster and blackened salmon all excellent, there is almost no salad options which seems a bid odd. Extensive wine and cocktails menu. We were too full for dessert. Put your fancy pants on, we felt we were slightly under dressed in jeans but nobody said anything.”
